Pixel Library Privacy Policy

Pixel Library provides study session tracking, private study groups, and account-based progress features. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how users can request support or deletion.
- Account information: username, email address, first name, last name, encrypted password, and selected avatar / character.
- Activity data: session start and end timestamps, break counts, break duration totals, group membership, and invite-based group actions.
- Service data: authentication tokens, basic request metadata, rate-limit events, and operational logs required to secure and run the service.
- To create and maintain user accounts.
- To authenticate users and protect account access.
- To store session history and calculate profile statistics.
- To power private groups, group administration, and invite code flows.
- To detect abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain service reliability.
Data Sharing
- We do not sell personal data.
- Data may be processed by infrastructure providers that host the API, database, logging, or deployment systems on our behalf.
- We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the service.
Data Retention
- Account and study activity data are retained while the account remains active.
- We may retain limited records after account deletion when necessary for fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, backup integrity, or legal compliance.
- When retention is required, the retained data will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
Account Deletion
- Users can delete their account inside the app from the profile screen.
- Users can also request deletion through the web deletion resource linked from the app and store listing.
- When an account deletion request is completed, the user account and associated in-scope account data are deleted from our active systems, subject to the retention exceptions described above.
Security
- We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal data.
- No system can guarantee absolute security, and users should also protect their credentials.
Children
- Pixel Library is not directed to children under 13.
- If you believe a child provided personal data in violation of applicable law, contact us so we can review and remove the information if appropriate.
International Use
- Data may be processed in countries other than the user’s country of residence, subject to applicable legal requirements.
